About Campground

Set amidst century-old maples, quaint stone walls, and reproduction colonial architecture, this family resort provides the best Connecticut camping has to offer. Here the prevailing breeze is fresh, and the westerly views are of rolling wooded hills and magnificent sunsets.

With modern facilities, the campground is beautifully situated on a hill among maple and apple trees. Most sites are pull-through, allowing for easy parking with additional areas offering everything from secluded tent sites to a three-acre field for groups.

No RV? No problem! With our speciality accommodations, including Camping Cabins and Deluxe Cabins, you may not even feel like you're roughing it at all.

Enjoy all the attractions in the greater Mystic Connecticut area, including Rhode Island beaches, Foxwoods Resort Casino and the Mohegan Sun Resort Casino. Mystic KOA is also near to some of Connecticut's finest tourist attractions, including the Mystic Seaport Museum, Dinosaur Place and the Mystic Aquarium.

First time staying at KOA mystic and it was a wonderful experience. Our camp spot was centrally located and close to everything. Camp store staff very helpful and pleasant. One thing I really enjoyed was the updating by text of all the events taking place through out the day. Campground Staff was very nice and pleasant. The campground was well maintained and clean. My neighbors at the campground were very nice and friendly in section R great seasonal people. I will definitely be going back soon. Thank you for a great stay.

We stayed here over a Halloween weekend and loved it. The staff was friendly and there were plenty of fun activities. My kids loved the playground and jumping pillow. The store was well stocked. Multiple bathrooms in good condition for a campground and the RV sites had plenty of space for backing in.

This is a great campground, esp for young kids. The big slides and the bouncing dome in the playground were an instant hit with our 5 year old granddaughter! Easy in and out and great setup for late arrivals. We come here more often in the late season because they are open all year round. But anytime is great to camp here.

Lovely Campground with family friendly atmosphere. Lots of activities and amenities for all! Clean facilities, friendly staff. Love the on-site store for convenience items, KOA merch, and much more. The location is convenient, on and off Ramps close by, close to roundabout that leads to many other popular destinations close by. It's a peaceful location as well. All around a great place.
