I really wish RVs weren't allowed here. Nothing like the hum of a generator to muffle out the sound of nature. Couldn't even hear the babbling brook right next to us. We will definitely be returning, because the area is absolutely BEAUTIFUL. Hopefully, no RVs there this time.

I can only speak of my personal experience. Yes, this is a basic FCFS campground. And it was clean, and well kept. We stayed in site #13, as we had a 33ft. 5th wheel and needed the space. And is the best site in our opinion. [Not too many sites accomodate larger trailers. Lots of room for smaller trailers and tent camping.]

Site #13 is at the top of the campground, shade and sun, close to stream [can hear it from site], very large site, private. We stayed 8 nights.

Campground host Amy was extremely friendly and helpful. She andswered our many questions about the campground, where we could find water and a dump for our trailer and places to go visit on the Mirror Scenice Byway. We had a great time at Yellow Pine and in the area. Would reccomend campground, providing you only need restroom and trash services. Town was conveniently located about 7 miles from campground.

Undeveloped campsite but close to Kamas, clean and easily accessed.

Picnic Tables and Great Fire pits in each of the spacious, beautiful spots.

Quiet creek nearby
