Clear lake with surprisingly warm water. Multiple places to camp right next to it.

The trash in the lake was too bad though, shows that people can be pretty selfish and despicable and only care about their own experience.

Still I'd give it a solid 4 stars, as it was a great experience, and the trash only impacted the lake visually (considering how clear the lake was in makes the trash more visible than it otherwise would be)

A great little lake with nice amenities if you're out for a picnic, going fishing, or want to go camping on the Nebo Loop. I definitely want to go back. I've been to Payson Lake many times in the past, and I don't know how I missed Maple Lake. Great find!

Great little fishing lake a few minutes up Payson Canyon. Its a quick drive, usually a good bunch of fish in the morning. On dry years though it can get pretty drained. I used to swim up here but I wouldn't recommend it anymore. It's big enough for a raft or very small canoe for fishing.

Great little lake, tried our hand a fishing in the afternoon to no avail. Camp host said gold fish got illegally introduced and have made the lake really muddy, and if to catch them to kill them.
