I love my spot I picked #112 which beyond the trees you can see the lake. It was an extra 5$ to camp at #112 but worth it.
Love it Friday night Great star show fireball shooting stars overcast for Saturday night epic Thunderstorm Sunday from 4-7 pm then great evening just wish I had a clear sky 😜 but love it Hot showers boat launch and Swim area close bye
Nice spacious campsite. Liked upper bayview compared to lower bayview. Felt lower bay view more sloppy. There is a good walk from the upper bay view to the beach. Excellent ranger driven program along with junior ranger programs. The park host was very nice and helpful.
Quiet so far, nice campsite at 123. Typical CA State Park restrooms without hot water or soap. Deer on premises. Not many insects. Would come again. Didn’t get in water.
We enjoyed our stay on lot 121.
Enjoying having a spot on the outskirts of the campgrounds. The location was very private in mid May with only a few other campers around. Enjoyed multiple deer sightings but be ready for evening with plenty of bug spray.
Fire pit height hindered our ability to enjoy sitting around a campfire. Central bathroom had a lot of bugs. Bathroom with shower is Much nicer. Local trails were easy and enjoyable.
