From I-10: Exit 33 and go North. Just past the 4th Traffic Light take a Y to the right. Quick right on Conoco St. Conoco dead ends into the park.
I really had zero problems here. The location was easy to get in / out but I should say tooI arrived at 3pm on Thursday and left at 9am on Saturday; your experience may differ from mine. The lazy river was fun but it was not heated. It was tolerable. I took a few hoodies for the kids afterwards and they were needed and appreciated.
The site we were assigned was concrete and pretty darn close to level.
My overall experience was the rated 5 stars.
Great park, we were meet at the office and escorted to our site. The site was a pull through plenty big enough for our motorhome and toad. They have a large off leash dog yard that our dogs love. Also a nice lazy river pool. Food is available but we never ordered. There is a Walmart just down the street.
The onsite manager was awesome and very helpful. We will definitely return when traveling this direction. This was our second stay on this trip.
Twelve Oaks RV park was a wonderful place to rest and stay for a little while. Their bathrooms and showers are very clean and their laundry is open 24 hours a day. They have a large hot tub and a lazy river which is very unique. They serve fresh donuts every morning for their guests. Each RV site as a Street Lamp and is paved and very level. They are easily accessible from I-10. And all the eateries and shopping centers are very close by. Walmart is in walking distance. The park is very quiet so you will get a good night's rest.
The manager was nice greeting and taking us to the site. The negative: internet did not work, adjacent rvs look old and in bad conditions , you are in the street no privacy at all, a lot of mud for my small dogs . Did not check the bathroom. Definitively too expensive , it does not look close to the advertised pictures .
Well…the good would be the friendly manager who greeted us. They have nice pull-through sites with cute lanterns at each site. The bad is that it is mostly a long-term RV park, so it depends where they put you if you are in a nice spot or by someone who has lived there for years. Everyone needs a place to live, but would be nice if they divided the park up so short term travelers weren’t stuck between long-term tenants. They have a lazy river, which was definitely being used in the 100 degree weather. We didn’t use it. The pictures they post do not reflect the conditions at the park. It did have large yard for dogs to run. Costs too much to be stuck where we were, as you can see from the picture of our RV neighbor. We only stayed one night, so wasn’t bad, but if you had to stay more than one night, I would find another place.
