From Jct of LA-13 & US-190, E 5.7 mi on US-190 (R) Caution: Narrow entrance/exit road.
We did an overnight stay in the winter. This seems like it must be a nice place during the busy season, but they don't seem to keep up during the offseason. It was open, so we could pay for a spot, but they didn't make sure the bathrooms were open and maintained; and the dumpsters were overfilled. Game rooms and stuff aren't available. So it's a place to plug in and stay, but limited.
Awesome place for a vacation. Just a heads up, take cash,they don't really disclose the credit card fees, but it's up there.
This use to be owned by my family so I spent quite a bit of time there as a kid and we just had our family reunion here. This was my first time back in a very long time but it looks like the new owners have kept everything updated and clean and family friendly. I highly recommend this place for a weekend get away.
I rented a cabin there and it was the right choice. The cabins are fantastic and very cozy. The owner is so friendly and so kind. There are live bands, DJs, etc for entertainment at the pavilion on the grounds. There is a pool, a game room, a snow cone stand, a fishing pond, plus more for you to enjoy while there.
I liked this place so much I am going back for my birthday get away.
