A low key fun place to spend a day or an afternoon. Plenty of picnic tables all in their own little area with a grill available. There is a 5 dollar day use fee. Lots of people like to swim in the lake and there is a trail that goes around the small lake too!
Great quiet beautiful place to go for a hike and then cool off with a nice swim in the lake.. They have huge restrooms with showers and all.. Great for camping, cookouts, birthday parties, hiking, swimming, fishing, and the list goes on... If you love the outdoors and in the area, I suggest you checking it out for yourself..
Beautiful day to go swimming today. The kids had fun. The water was a little higher than expected, but they didn't complain. Law enforcement guy was really nice and helpful with information about prices and rules. Bathroom was clean as was the park and swimming area. There were quite a few big sticks and limbs that had washed ashore because of the weather, but my kids went around the other way. All in all, we had fun. Even ate dinner out there too.
