Beautiful! Small beach, great pavillion with bathrooms, electricity, and small kitchen. Beautiful fishing pier and nice cabins on the water. Great boat launch and boat dock.
This happens to be our first site for camping so it is close to our hearts. Because we love a wide open view of the area, Cypress Bend is perfect for us. The beach area is not so great but we aren't beach people. Showers are nice and well kept with hot water. We saw both bald and golden eagles flying over along with two families of geese with their little ones. It has both sun and shade. The pavillion and rose garden are well maintained. We have Verizon and had great internet conncection.
I dont give 5 stars often, but, this place, along with its staff team, definitely deserve it. Every staff member was always so cheerful and nice, and willing to help any way possible. I had the best 2 weeks of my life right here. Fishing off the pier was great, swimming area was awsome and had volleyball net set up and even a small play area for little ones. Me and the family had our tents and coolers, we stuck it out through a storm, and although I was on crutches, I still absolutely wouldn't change a single thing. LOVE THIS PLACE.
The campsite was clean, well kept, great views and the staff were friendly. Small walking path around part of the lake was nice. The laundry room has dryers that actually dry a load in one cycle! Would go again.
We have camper here and now going to take our travel trailer and stay a while. The park is nice, clean and well taken care of. You can see where they are using the gate fees to do improvements in the park. We recently went to the Major League Fishing Tournament and it was well organized and I would consider it one of the best parks on the lake.
