We are a small (14 spots) locally owned and operated rv park right on the Atchafalaya River. My name is Leonard Price, owner and operator of Cajun Country Rv Park. I’m a local, and I live here on site. We have a beautiful and unique location here that was once three different commercial fishing docks. Before that, it was the site of a Union Army Fort built in 1863 to defend the island from invading rebel forces ( the Mosquito Fleet). Right across from the mouth of Bayou Teche, it was a strategic location that could also defend the river pass to the North.
We welcome you here for your stay with us. I am around every day, so feel free to come and talk, or ask about the local area.

I am a travel nurse and my co-worker and I stayed here for 13 weeks. The new owner Libby goes above and beyond to accommodate her guests. It is a beautiful location behind a secure gate. The river is just steps away and the neighbors are all friendly. We travel with our 2 dogs and the park is pet friendly as well. 100% recommend to anyone. Thanks Libby!
Great little campground on the river.
Walk to the Shrimp Boat docks 5 min
Not sure if Libby got us a deal, but
$3.00 a LB for jumbo shrimp off the boat. WoW !!! Right in the heart of Morgan City, great little city well worth exploring in the heart of Tabasco country. Libby and Larry are the best native hosts you will ever encounter
Thank You Guys, We enjoyed our stay
Sea you in September. Bill & Wendy
Very small quiet near and the water. The owner was extremely helpful with information and quick to answer questions. We only stayed 1 night and worked for what we needed
Great place to stay! Quiet and peaceful. My husband worked in the area and we stayed here for several months. Gated and secure area. It is steps away from the Atchafalaya River. They have a dock that you can fish from, and you can sit under a covered area and watch the boats pass all day. It's minutes from restaurants and shopping. You will not be disappointed!
Beautiful little oasis in the city. The RV Park is quaint, with about 15 sites. It's has beautiful water views of the Atchafalaya River. We saw 2 eagles. Big barges go by along with jet skies and other boats. It's lovely to sit in their gazebo and watch all the action. The park is gated. I would suggest you call ahead. We called when we arrived. It was less than 10 minutes before a call back. Our site was perfect, and the entire park was very clean and quiet. There is electric, water, and sewer hookups. There is a small laundry room with a half bath. I did not see a shower, but we did not need one. We would have stayed longer, but we had a cold and just wanted to get home. I would highly recommend Cajun RV in Morgan City.
