Conveniently located off US Highway 12, all-new Willow Ranch RV Park is just northeast of DeQuincy, Louisana, and north of Lake Charles. Our excellent location and affordable rates make us the ideal stop for the night or a peaceful home away from home. We offer a “no-frills” country style of RVing that includes amenities for your safety, convenience, comfort, and enjoyment. Plus, we are pet-friendly.
We have been staying here since early October and it has been great. The owners are phenomenal people. They are more than accommodating and helpful. I see a review below about the boom trucks being in the driveway. I have zero complaints with that. They're cleaning up the mess that Hurricane Laura left which our family will be forever grateful for. There is also two entrances, so when the trucks were being tinkered on in the driveway, you could enter/exit through the other entrance. The WiFi is terrible and the call service is little to none, but the hospitality of the owners makes up for all of that. Wonderful people.
This place is off beaten path. Yes! Yes, there’s a train and the highway noise. but it’s real clean and the owner. Ken is awesome. This guy really goes out of his way to make things good around here. Plus there’s plenty of room to walk your dog. And bon fires every night 👍
Came for an extended stay. Owners are very nice people and easy to work with. Small RV park but perfect for us during the hunting season. Very clean and quiet. Well lit. Does offer free wifi but we are far on the end so it didn’t reach us. Laundry room and shower area were always really clean. That was a huge plus for me. We will be making this our yearly place to stay for hunting season.
This is a good rv park if you like peace n quiet and pet friendly. And not the negative comment is two yrs old after two Hurricaines. It was hard times - then. So read the owners reply is correct.
It fills up but some ppl pulled up stakes and left so there's some really good spots up front open. I was told you should take those if you want WiFi to work better it can be slow at times or not work a while if it rains.
You can say - a real plus+ It's not far to Dequincy on a main road so that is convenient. It's only about a mile away to shop stay a while or get back home quick. They have quite a bit to offer get supplies for it being a little town - then Hwy 12 to 171 Moss Bluff and Lake Charles are not far makes it easy. Also a direct route to Sulphur and Deridder and other local towns.
The train does run 2 or 3 times per day. It's a bit of a trade off but the rent $450 is great- that includes electric so I give them 5 stars :)
It's nice you can have a fun - cook out w. campfire and you got no problems if you keep your yard clean. It would be nice to have some less than temporary folks. One thing I like is they don't bother you here - There always keeping up the property and very decent people run the place.
We stayed at this park for a month. Laundry onsite. Rent was very reasonable. However, WiFi didn’t work and we were 3 rv’s down from the office. Verizon cell service was very very very weak and AT&T worked only a little better. The park was full of workers helping to rebuild from hurricanes. I only posted this because we travel for work (not doing construction) and rely on reviews and other peoples pictures they post about a park especially when the rv park itself doesn’t post any new or updated pictures. We have gone to rv parks based on what the rv park posted and said it was supposed to be to only learn it was nothing what they said it was because they never updated pictures and people wouldn’t give a review. The only major complaint we had was the debris trucks were parked and/or being worked on in the driveway so at times it made it real tight to get into the park and for someone leaving in their rv.
