I have stayed here many times before and enjoyed it very much. The park is fun to bike ride in and the scenery is very nice. On our recent stay there were several campers playing their music really loud. There was one such camper about 80 yards away. We asked them politely to turn down their music. They did the first night, but the second night, they cranked it up. Some of the party members passed by and shouted obscenities at us. After contacting the administrator and informing him of what took place, we were left with feeling like he basically said, I’m sorry it happened, you don’t know what you’re talking about, deal with it. So, prepare for loud music if you go there.
Great Place! Stayed here for a while. Excellent office personnel and crew. Wildlife and beach are a big plus!
Nice camping with a camper don’t stay in the cabins they are a joke charged use 85 a night and a deposit of 150 for a cabin you can see the outside through the holes in the wall. And was told by the staff they should be condemned after we payed for the weekend asked for a discount and they laughed at us the Grass and shrubs are overgrown along the lake so you can not relax looking over the lake
Decent place, but be warned no dogs over 30lbs. Didn’t use or go to any facilities on site, was almost full with campers and the lake was nice… the lady at the gate was kind enough to let me in with my dog due to travel time!
