The tiny home that my husband stayed last weekend I decided to write a review as this establishment "tweaked " his to what they want viewers to read and noticing that owners responses to other reviews is the same type of rhetoric each time as they will address it with their team, obviously not , tv never worked and told twice, hard bench to sit on at the end of a day, if tv was working it doesn't swivel towards loft sleeping, campsites upon drive thru are very unkept, roads are dirt with major holes in them,. I believe it's more of a seasonal home for many but owners allow a whatever attitude towards outside accumulation of "stuff"

Stayed 2 nights didn't stay for the third night.

Pool clean/ campstore stocked well.

Pulled into the park, and could not believe how unkempt it was. There are potholes everywhere, the seasonal sites looked junky with old furniture and garbage around. Reminded me of a poorly kept mobile home park. The grass was overgrown. Our site was about 20+ feet from the hookups, so we did not hook up water or sewer. To get it closer, we would have had to go on ground that had tree roots. It had loose gravel and was completely uneven. I would have never wasted my money to stay here. Fortunately, it is just for 1 night. The pool was the only plus here.

Since this is our first season at Tuxbury Pond we had a lot of questions. OMG the staff was is great. We have been here three months and will return for the 2024 season mostly because of the staff. Wanted to give a shout out to a few for helping us settle in and make our summer stay a great experience. Tara, Wendy, Jessica, Bob.

Three main issues.

When called was told check-in time was up to 9:30pm, later called and was told by someone else it's 9pm, only to receive a call at 5:45pm to see if we are still coming as office closes at 6pm. Fortunately the girl who called left our check-in info in the mail box but otherwise it's unclear what the office hours are for checkin and inconsistent information is given when calling and online.

Second and main issue is rec-room being open all night. If you are tent camping and people are in there playing games past midnight, good luck sleeping. Kids were in there at all hours of the night, yelling, and driving a golf cart down the hill by the sites

Also, as were leaving the washroom, one kid/teen yelled out "now I know where your site is, sleep with one eye open". It was so random. We felt very unsafe, parents didn't supervise kids/teens, and there was no respect for quiet hours. Will never visit this place again nor recommend. Worst camping experience ever. We were out that morning by 6am and could not enjoy the stay
