About Campground

Owls Landing Campground is located in the heart of the Lakes Region on U.S. Route 3 in Holderness, New Hampshire. Camp close to both Lake Winnipesaukee and Squam Lake, where On Golden Pond was filmed. We offer family camping in a natural setting, where you can get away from it all, relax by a campfire, or spend time fishing, boating and hiking.

We offer rustic tent, water & electric and full hookup sites in a natural wooded setting. All of our campsites include a picnic table, fire ring or a stone firepit. Cable TV is available on select full-hookup sites and free WiFi service is available throughout the campground.

Horrible Experience. Do not go here. Place is a dump. Owners are horrible. Their dumpster is most disgusting site I have ever witnessed. It is just a dump. Gross. Damp. Totally exclusive group of seasonal people with special rules versus normal campers. What a joke. Place is horrible plus Zero cellular so if have kids on phones forget it. No signal either way for like 2 miles. Nuts. My kids hated it here. Not well maintained. Go to a nice campground in NH but not here.

I had not been back to this camp ground in 20 years and I am so glad I brought my youngest daughter to one of the best camp grounds ever. The owners are beyond kind, the campers are friendly, fun and accepting. This has become our new home for summers spent camping. There is nothing better than Owls Landing, there is always something going on, the pool is in the perfect sunny spot

My absolute favorite place in the whole world. Amazing place for kids as there are so many kids of all ages to play with. Owners hosts multiple very fun events throughout the season. The group of people you meet quickly turn from strangers, to friends and then soon after that to family. My kids (and I) cry every single year on the last day of the season. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a seasonal campsite.

Booked a tent site for the weekend. The seasonal people, mostly middle aged bikers, were very friendly. The staff was helpful and kind. They have a corner store with all the necessities and a decent pool that I used to cool off. This campground provides the basics. The arcade and playground were in tough shape but that had no impact on my stay. I wanted to paddle squam lake so the location was perfect. I was happy with my stay.

We loved how quiet and wooded the location was. You could hear loons calling at night.

This is a great campground for the loyal seasonal people who call it home. Everyone we met was friendly. If you're just popping in for a few days look elsewhere - despite the good rate.

What we didn't love:

No wifi anywhere

No toilets aside from the office bathrooms which was a 10 min walk from our site and no tp or paper towels in those.

No functioning playground

Our site was full of leaves and winter tree debris. We bought a rake and cleaned it ourselves

It was opening weekend but operations were just not on point.
