looking to camp for a week and gor tolled they don't rent to anyone who lives in Laconia. lol WHAT! Oh well I guess that's money out of there pocket.
Seeing a lot of negative reviews. I couldn’t disagree more. My husband, daughter, and I were passing through. Needed a place to stay. And found this place. Reviews almost turned us away. The sites are a bit tight yes but it wasn’t packed. So it was great. The owners were very down to earth cool people. Bathrooms were very clean. Showers were very spacious and water was hot. Laundry on site was a plus for us. I was able to get a load of laundry done as I was cooking dinner. There was a pretty cool arcade across the road. So we walked over there and hung out for a bit. Passed by a cool chocolate shop on the walk back. Grabbed some treats. Idk we enjoyed ourselves. Everyone around us seemed to be enjoying themselves as well. I’d definitely recommend staying.
who ever said there bathroom are horrible you are lies it is always clean and it is very quiet as far as karaoke it was for all campers to come and enjoy I sm a seasonal rental and it truly is a great place and yes the are very strict I welcome it.
Please dont lie you must own camp diwn the street.
I didn't look at the reviews before I called them to try to book something, but I didn't have to look at them to know that they were probably not great compared to the other places. I had been calling around to price out a campsite, and the guy on the phone for this place was extremely rude and condescending. A far cry from how any of the other places behaved on the phone. I am inclined to believe what many of the other reviews say about the owners/staff based on their behavior.
This place is a little diamond in the rough. It has a tiny little pool filled with great people; mostly seasonal people hanging out but they are a great group of people; very welcoming and friendly. The bathrooms and showers were very clean and well-maintained.
We were out in "the field" with our travel trailer which is next to a busy road near The Weir's, Octane, and Funspot. We only had a power hookup but we had the best time out here. As a matter of fact, I'm writing from beside the the campfire now.
Owner's are great, laid-back folks and the day staff is so friendly. We asked to return on a weekend in August at, what what we learned, will be a busy weekend for Soulfest. They managed to squeeze us into a spot in "the field." Fine by us!
My only negative was that GPS brought us 200 yards beyond the entrance. We eventually figured it out.
Thank you guys for a great weekend.
PS. Apparently this is the place to be during motorcycle weekend. Front row seats for the show on the street . It's right across the street from Funsport and Octane.
