Amazing state park with a large amount of trails. The trails are pretty long and the easiest trail can still be very challenging. The incline grade gets harder and harder as you get closer to the top. Near the top is straight up rock climbing. Top can be inside rain clouds sometimes. Very slippery due to rain and clouds. Recommend good boots, and flashlights.

Be prepared! It's a steap one!! Wear the proper shoes with grip! Bring plenty of water and a refuel snack! Prepare for stair like rocks (high knees people!) that could also be slippery when wet; straight slopes going up as well as when you go down. Respect the woods and nature. Bring back ALL trash even if it's biodegradable, it does not necessarily belong naturally in that environment. Always leave somewhere better than when you arrived.

Plan ahead! You need to reserve parking in advance. It will be crowded. But it is still well worth it. A strenuous hike, wear sturdy footwear and bring plenty of water on warm days.

Great sunrise view.

It take one hour and a half to reach the summit, i recommend to have a coffee and snacks with you 😅😅 to enjoy the view.

Its so windy up there.

This was my first visit to Monadnock State Park, and the views here are absolutely breathtaking. However, be prepared for a challenging hike that can take nearly 5 hours round trip. I even twisted my ankle on the way down the mountain, but despite the mishap, it was still worth every moment! Climbing requires using both hands at times, so be sure to keep that in mind, and most importantly, don't forget to bring enough water!
