Toccoa Falls RV Park is a private campground & is currently only available to TFC alumni & parents of current students.
We love it here! Faye is wonderful, the long term residents are friendly and helpful with info. Beware though if you want to go out for a night with your spouse there are NO BARS/TAVERNS for almost an hour in any direction. There’s every store you could ever think of, 4 auto parts stores, Walmart Home Depot harbor freight but no bars lol. There are shower houses here, Nothing fancy and a lil chilly but gets the job done. Bring toliet paper with you to bathrooms, some times they’re out. Also washer and dryer on sight as well. Spots are a bit tight in the third row at the park but really I can’t complain. I love it here. If it were just a bit warmer we’d stay here all winter long. It’s a great place. Send me any questions u have and I’d be willing to help anyway I can.
This campground is clean and quiet. The people there are amazing and so friendly. We had an issue with water leaking in our camper after a freeze and weren’t there, we were called immediately and able to get back and fix it with so many offers to help. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay while we were in a transition period for several months.
Quiet, peaceful, no frills campground with great rates and awesome owner. Ms. Faye was super nice, super helpful, and lives on property making it easy to get in touch when needed. Park has 30 & 50 amp sites with full hookups for water and sewer. Bath house has a men and women's side with laundry facility in the middle and two shower stalls in each with hot water that lasted entire shower and then some. They do have free WiFi, but was not working during our stay and scheduled for repair the day we left. Beautiful property that used to be a working farm ran by Ms. Faye and her late husband that was perfect for giving the dogs an adventure. Lots of wildlife smells kept the pups excited, and since the trails were also the old farm roads it was easy enough to keep us humans in tow! They have very reasonable daily, weekly, and monthly rates, and not totally certain, but my guess is that most campers were long term or full time RVrs. Nevertheless, everyone we met was very friendly and welcoming. A great example being that we arrived after dark and within 5-10min had two guys come over and help us level out and hook up the camper. One of them even brought over spaghetti after we got set up so we wouldn't have to cook. They don't take credit or debit cards so make sure to plan on getting cash or writing a check before you get there. But town is only about 5min away with banks, Wal-Mart, gas stations, resturaunts, and anything else you may need. There's also instructions on how to pay/register it you arrive after hours. Could the park use some updating?...yes. have I seen parks better kept and more tidy?....yes. would I go back here again?...yes. I'm usually a bit more tough on rating criteria, but Toccoa RV Park gets 4 stars from me because of the owner, Ms. Faye, being so nice, accommodating, and readily available, as well as for the lasting hot showers, and peace and quiet with nobody looking down their nose, creating drama, peeking out blinds trying to size up the new guy, or otherwise bothering us. So If you're looking for a resort type park with scheduled activities, game room, spit shined facilities, and all the ooh la la's and bells and whistles of the modern day camping vacation destination, then do yourself & everyone else a favor and book elsewhere. But if you want a quiet, no fuss kind of campground with full hookups, Wi-Fi, good rates, close to town, and people leave you alone unless you need their help, then this campground is perfect. Hope this review helps in making your campground selection and wish you well on your journey! Thanks again to Ms. Faye, Brian, and Daniel for making our trip extra special...you rock!
I really love this campground. It is clean and affordable and has really great people around. It's a great place to stay long term and Mrs. Faye is the nicest owner. Very close to some amazing sites, local waterfalls and a few minutes from a boat and kayak launch.
