From Morganton, GA, take State Rt. 60 south for 15.6 miles to Cooper Creek Recreation Area sign (Cooper Creek Rd.). Bear left onto Cooper Creek Rd. and go 6 miles to campground.
Awesome place to spend a while there. Stocked coopers creek weekly with nice trout. No running water though. You can use creek water.
awesome place to camp, we stayed during the week, there was nobody at the campground and only a handful of cars came down the road the entire stay. it is very secluded right on the river, we all had a great time. Will be back!
Nice place 5 miles off the SR60. Trout stream, toilets, & water. $15 a night.
Loved the trout fishing here. We got a campsite and cooked our catch. Very peaceful!
