The Lodge at San Isabel has a long history. This area was designed and created to be one of the first recreational areas in Colorado. In those early days (late 1930's), The Lodge at San Isabel was the mess hall for the CC camp workers. Today people from all over the world visit Lake San Isabel for camping, fishing, backpacking, biking, canoeing, wildlife viewing and picnicking. Our summer temperatures of 80 degrees and cool evenings you will be able to explore the Wet Mountains and the 1.6 million acres San Isabel National Forest and Wilderness area. With 300 days of annual sunshine and breathtaking mountain landscapes the high country of Southern Colorado playground. It's a great place to get away from it all to spend time with family and friends.
Come stay in one of our cabins and explore our mountains!
Great Wolf Lodge was pricey but amazing! All the staff was friendly and very helpful. I left my wallet in the Cabana and they found it right away! The rooms are clean, just as described and beds are comfy. The Water Park itself is a child's paradise. I wish they had a lazy river and a bigger wave pool. But for my 3 year old niece it was a blast! I would definitely recommend getting a Cabana definitely worth the extra privacy and convenience. My only gripe would be that the water park closes at 8 pm and the restaurants close at 9pm! It would have been nice to be able to clean up and come back down for a bite to eat. We were forced to leave the building in cold weather. This wouldn't prevent me from going again.
Fantastic for families. There is plenty to do. My husband said it's like Vegas for kids. Great Wolf Lodge 🐺 has a great variety of slides and water games for kids of all ages as well as kids at heart. But that's not all. They have a bunch of free activities, too. Dance parties, crafts, story times, yoga, Master Magi Ceremony, bingo, wolf ear decorating (for the free wolf ears you get when you stay), adventure training, and bingo to name a few. There are play packages to purchase to enjoy golf, bowling, wall climbing, etc. There's also a fun arcade. Don't forget the Forest Friends show! I recommend getting the breakfast buffet. It's delicious and offers something for everyone.
Super fun, loads to do!! Aqua park is incredible, slides for all ages and a wave pool. Awesome climbing experience, panning for gems, arcade and mini golf. Wonderful service. Great functional rooms. Very much a family fun park combined with a hotel. Recommend staying 2 nights or more to fully enjoy the excellent amenities.
The staff is super friendly and very helpful. The rooms and the hotel are extremely clean. When you walk into your room and you can smell the clean it's such a wonderful welcoming feeling. So many activities for kids to do even scheduled activities during the day through the evening. A Story Time Craft story time and then a dance party my youngest absolutely loved it yoga in the morning and that's just to name a few. Also a interactive game called Magi Quest that both of my children absolutely loved. The food was good just an all-around wonderful trip with my family.
We had such a great time here. Every staff member we interacted with was so nice and do so well with the kids. The kids loved the little den and bunk beds in the room. The room was clean and the view was amazing. The dance party was so fun. The pool area is nice and ordering food and drinks could not be easier. We will be back.
