We got two king cabins for me and my family. The check in process was super easy and the staff was extremely helpful and kind making sure I had booked what I intended. The cabins are so well built, comfortable and beautiful. It was nearby everything, restaurants, a great bar, gift shops, rafting, zip lining, gondola, the gorge, and great scenery. The gas fire pit was also beautiful and plenty of seating. The cabins truly have everything you need, from games, cookware, plenty of seating, hammock and a grill. Would definitely book again.
We loved our time at the Cabin! We had a two king bed cabin and it was perfect for our family of four. The kids loved having their own space upstairs. The kitchenette was perfect to store some groceries during the stay. Corn hole was provided along with a hammock out back. The views were amazing and the cabin felt very private even though they are all clustered together. The location was perfect with our planned rafting trip and other events planned in the area. We look forward to coming back in years to come.
We love a good glamping experience but this exceeded all expectations. The tents were very clean and more comfortable than imagined. There's a coffee pot and locally roasted coffee there that lasted us 2 days. We had a fire both nights we were there and one of the staff came around to see if we needed more wood to burn for our stay. Bathrooms were clean and stocked with soft towels and higher end toiletries in case you forgot yours. Best part by far was the view. Set up on the hill, it's mountains for days. Would recommend to everyone! Just know that after labor day things start shutting down there!
After doing some research on where to go white water rafting, I came upon Cañon City, CO. As I was looking for a place to stay, Royal Gorge Cabins popped up and I looked around and saw “glamping” tents. It was perfect. My girlfriend and I were so happy when we found out that Royal Gorge Rafting was right across the street from the place we were staying. The tent had 2 beds and it was air conditioned. We had our own fire pit, complete with wood and a starter, dropped off to us every day. The bathrooms were very clean and had every accommodation that a normal hotel would have. We also ate and drank at the Whitewater Bar and Grill, which is also across the street, and watched the sun rise and set with the most spectacular view. We had the best time pointing out constellations and watching the moon rise. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in the area.
We had such an amazing time here. It was very clean and a great layout. We enjoyed the hammock and fireplace. The view was great, especially the stars at night. There are also a lot of activities near.
Things to be aware of: You can hear the highway traffic and the helicopter tours across the street were quite busy throughout the day and fly by every 15 min or so, buy I enjoyed watching them. Also, the restaurant/bar across the street was closed due to the off season.
