Be sure to ask questions as the website is a bit misleading this year. There is no fishing this year due to lack of water. It's unfortunate and understandable, but would have been nice to know prior to making our reservation, we would have gone somewhere else as we were looking forward to doing some fishing in a less crowed area. The camp rules are also not posted on the website nor were they mentioned on the telephone when we booked our spot - they do not allow campfires or charcoal grills (again, understandable, but would have been nice to know before we got there). The campground is very quiet and peaceful. The lower sites with full hook ups are mostly in the open and somewhat close together but have an open view of the valley. The upper sites with water and electricity are in the trees, a bit more spacing than the lower sites for sure. The sites are nature grade, not bad, but take some extra blocks for leveling. Power and water are a bit of a stretch depending on how you place your RV, take an additional extension cord and hose. The staff was extremely friendly except for the lady that checked us out. We asked if there was a discount since there was no fishing, her response "you got to walk on our pine cones and rocks", which is very true, there were numerous pine cones in our site, so many that it was actually hard to walk, take a leaf rake you won't regret it. It was nice, but $30/night for only water and electricity, I think there are better places.
