From Gunnison - West on Hwy 50 for 25 miles. Turn left on Cove Rd. Entrance to resort is the first right off Cove Rd. From Montrose - East on Hwy 50 for 35 miles. Turn right on Cove Rd. Entrance to resort is the first right off Cove Rd.
We stopped here on our motorcycle trip through Colorado. The cabins are cute and have a microwave, stove, fridge, and full bathroom. There's a small dining table and acouch with a separate bedroom.
And each cabin has an amazing view of the lake. We sat on the front porch and watched a thunderstorm roll through. We met some other guests and shared stories and fresh caught sockeye salmon.
The owners were exceptional, checking in on us once and sharing wonderful stories before we left. We will be planning a for day weekend here.
Absolutely obsessed with these cabins. Super quaint, unbeatable views, amazing and friendly staff, dog friendly, not much more you can ask for! We usually tent camp and decided pretty sporadically to splurge. We're so glad we did. On a cold night this was perfect stay. Made our food using the provided grill, camp fire, and oven. We will definitely stay again!
Wonderful place. Thanks again for allowing me to stay on short notice. The most important to me, with just a five minute conversation with the owners it is easy to tell they are just good people. I am honored to have met them. There is nothing at all I could say negative about my stay.
Excellent RV parking fully hooked up plots with a small laundry/shower building. Very pleasant welcome and booking process. Oh and did I mention the amazing views over the lake and surrounding mountains. Breathtaking way to wake up. Would highly recommend this RV site
