Awesome site. Family oriented. Veteran campers stay long term and are very friendly and welcoming. Always full or near capacity make reservations early if you need a rv spot. On creek bank and town and diner are a really close walk.
Clean bathrooms, great staff and patrons (many long term or summer-long stays), and walking distance to anything in town. Stayed in a spot on the creek side for a few days.
I and friends were on a motorcycle road trip and called at 8 am to see if the they had tent sites. They didn’t but said we could camp in a RV site on the creek in site #21.
We said we would be there between 5-6 pm and paid with a credit card for the spot.
We pull up just before 5pm just as a motor home was backing into our spot.
We go to the office and talk with the manager ( same person we talked to in the morning) and asked what’s the deal. He came out and said that he had a different spot. IT WAS IN THE ROADWAY NEXT TO THE RESTROOM.
We asked for a refund of our money, and he said that he didn’t have too since he offered us a different camp spot.
Can't say enough good things about this place, the hosts and the regulars. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. We were greeted with that "old friend" type warmth even though we had just met. The 2 host couples were amazing and truly great people. They provided trail suggestions, favorite eateries and things to do or see while we were there. The park is right by a creek. It is a dog friendly establishment and there is a park across the street to run your pup. Close to the trails and other stores in town. The shower houses are clean. The laundry room was well kept and machines are highly efficient. There was plenty of room in our lot to park our rig, dually, dr650 and our talon... leaving plenty of room for our picnic table. Almost forgot!! The doe and her twins are regulars in the park!! Loved watching them!! We will definitely be back!
