Super park with nice shaded trails. Tower, pool, and a cave. Campsites, showerhouse and headquarters look brand new.

Mother Neff is a beautiful state park. We especially enjoyed the wash pond. It was so clear and the ecosystem beneath the water was clearly visible. We were also impressed with the education displays at the park headquarters. Thank you to all the hands and hard work that contribute to our awesome state parks!

Such a fun hike! I would consider it an intermediate trail. It was not exactly easy. The trail had lots of things to trip on (mostly rocks and roots). Hills and tons of stairs. If there is any rain or mud, I'm sure the trails are closed. If they do not close them, then I would not hike these trails. Super clean area. I will definitely be back! I parked at the cave and walked up to the old pool/wash pond and back...it was the perfect loop! Do not skip Bluff Trail! 😎 I have pointed out in the pictures attached the Bluff Trail that I thought was the prettiest of all the trails. Enjoy!!

Beautiful hike. We parked at Wash pond and hiked all the way to the caves, the tower around the bluffs and back and it took about 1.8, MI. It's very Rocky and there are some ups and downs so I would consider this a moderate hike. Make sure you wear good shoes. It's very clean and well maintained. This would be good for pretty much any age. And it's dog friendly.
