While working at Fort Hood, I stayed at Rocky River for right at 1 year from February 2019 to February 2020. I had absolutely no issues while being here. Based on my endless work schedule, I never had a chance to eat from the café but considering the way everything else was run, I’m sure it was good. I don’t drink coffee so can’t speak to that either. Owners are extremely personable and easy to get along with. Reading some of the more recent reviews, it sounds like continuous upgrades have been made since I was there. Never had any problems with the wifi either. If I’m the area again, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay with them. No question about it. Excellent hosts.
Great outdoor experience with access to the river along side the location. Internet is at FAIR to LOW level at the rv spot we are at unfortunately. Have to use Hotspot for internet. Might be different at other areas around the rv resort. Our spot was almost perfectly level. Very nice people and atmosphere. Did not stay in a cabin so can not rate the rooms.
My month-long stay at Rocky River in Oak Tree Cabin #6 was perfect! I loved having the shower room separate so the humidity did not interfere with my living space. Staff members were super friendly and went above and beyond to get me into my room as quickly as possible. I look forward to my next stay with them.
Such a wonderful place to stay! Grounds well kept, super friendly staff and their cabins are Awesome in every way. Great location on the River.
Long term stay. Been here a month and we love it! The pull through sites are large and level. Great staff. Friendly neighbors. And the river access is great for a fur babies. A 10/10.
