This location has been a long-time favorite of mine... and now my kids love it just as much as I do! The water is always clear- its a rock bottom at this location and has very little mud, if any at all, while entering the water from the shore. There are several cliffs, all different hights! Plenty of people jump off of the highest cliff - it will take your breath away! I prefer the smaller ones, myself. Water shoes are recommended. Climbing up and down wet, rocky areas is required, so it may be tricky for those who have mobility issues. New restrooms have been installed. Hiking areas with private beaches are located away from the cliffs. Picnic tables are also available near the cliffs.
Such a fun hike! I would consider it an intermediate trail. It was not exactly easy. The trail had lots of things to trip on (mostly rocks and roots). Hills and tons of stairs. If there is any rain or mud, I'm sure the trails are closed. If they do not close them, then I would not hike these trails. Super clean area. I will definitely be back! I parked at the cave and walked up to the old pool/wash pond and back...it was the perfect loop! Do not skip Bluff Trail! 😎 I have pointed out in the pictures attached the Bluff Trail that I thought was the prettiest of all the trails. Enjoy!!
