We only had 1 night at Lake Limestone Campground and Marina but are already making plans to return. When we arrived the site we had been assigned was a 50 AMP sight and we are 30 AMP so the staff helped us find a 30 AMP spot to move to. We camped on a Thursday so the office closed early but we will are looking forward to returning to fish, hang out at Limestone Louie's, and just relax. We did get to have breakfast the next morning which was delicious.
Diamond in the Rough
Great little campground that has full hookups for RVs. Cabins are nice also. There is a store and a grill on site. The owners are fantastic and friendly, they have only owned this property for 14 months and are making improvements daily. Can’t wait to come back and see all the improvements. Try them out, we recommend them.
Definitely loved my stay here once again. The staff if so amazing & welcoming. The new owners are doing such a great job at recruiting amazing staff. The staff took care of us and made sure we were taken care of. Room was very clean.
Went to check out Happy hour and it was a grand slam! Absolutely blew away my expectations.. 😁 The staff was super friendly and the drink prices were much cheaper than expected. The dinner special for the evening was homemade lasagna for 12.99 it was excellent! I ordered it to go and it was perfect when I got it back home. Emma was super friendly and the fresh basil on top was a great touch. The side salad was totally awesome with quartered strawberries, white grapes and fresh spring mix lettuce. The salad was so good if it was a bit larger with some spicy or grilled chicken on it could be a single item alone.... 😁
Didn't stay in a room, so didn't rate it. Cozy little restaurant, food was good,homemade pizza,great wings & chili fries.
Nice area, a bit of a drive but worth it to me.
Also they have a wine tasting, and sell wine! Nice,nice outside deck, bingo on some select Saturdays!
Going to check that out soon!
They have cabins,RV park, and bungalows in one big house type building. This would be great accomodations for weddings or family reunions in the area.
