About Campground

Little Lucy is a family owned and operated RV resort offering a tranquil nature getaway in the beautiful Texas Hill Country! Our aim is to provide a secluded, spacious outdoor experience. We strive to be more than a place to "park it" for a day.

Enjoy a tranquil walk along the creek, as you take in the sounds of songbirds and the sight of beautiful wildflowers. Cast your fishing line from one of our creek-side decks or just enjoy the view of the dam as the water flows. Enjoy a good hammock nap and the taste of smores by the fire.

Are you looking for more adventure? Not a problem. With our central location, excitement and fun are close by in almost any direction. Head on over to our local attractions, such as antique shops, wine or beer tasting rooms, spa, bowling alley, golf, or restaurants and ice cream shops. Enjoy live music and dancing at nearby venues.

Directions

Approaching from North 281:

When approaching from this direction, please be prepared to stop quickly, as the entry is blocked from sight by terrain. Keep your GPS handy, so you know when you're getting close. In the distance on the left (east) side of the highway, you will see our billboard, the letters "RV" in red and black. Our entrance is about 600' BEFORE the billboard. If you miss this first driveway (Little Lucy RV over the top, green pipe fence), don't worry. You can still catch the 2nd driveway about 500' farther. This driveway is generally considered the exit, so use caution when entering this direction. These two driveways come together in front of the office, where you will find the entry gate and the keypad for your gate code.

Approaching from Lampasas:

About a mile past the airport, almost 3 miles from city limits, you will see our billboard on the right (east) side of the highway. The next two driveways belong to Little Lucy. The 2nd driveway is the entrance and will lead you to the office. The clearance at this entrance is 14'. In front of the office you will find the entry gate and keypad for your gate code.

We stayed for the weekend at Site #3. The space was very large and next to the river. My husband caught a fish on his first cast. He was able to fish right from our campsite. The campsite faced the East and we really enjoyed watching the sunrises. The laundry facility and shower area were very clean and well maintained. We could not get service on our Verizon devices. However, our AT&T devices got full bars so I was able to work from the campsite using my AT&T hotspot. The only reason I give this 4 stars is due to the dust from the campground roads. We did hear a bit of highway noise but it wasn’t too bad. We can’t wait to go back to see what improvements are made and how the resort grows in the future! The campground has a ton of potential and the owner’s plans for future expansion listed on their website looks very enticing! Overall, our stay was extremely relaxing and peaceful. We will definitely be back!

Retired couple living in our RV after traveling almost every state in America on work. So we stayed in a lot of RV parks. This is by far one the Very Best. It is clean, not parked close to other RV's, great management who care. It is quiet, out of city limits yet close enough for shopping. Laundry rooms clean and very accessible. Every spot has a picnic table.

Been here before and came back to town for work. Great location just off hiway and outskirts of town. I'm a 38ft park model and fitment is easy in these oversized over double vehicle wide on some spots. Bathrooms are good water pressure, as you're not stuck in an rv size shower to get clean. Staff is helpful with anything that arises and accommodates well with spots as it shakes up every once in a while. I have been stating one row over from last trip. I'm just fine as I've spent time in crowded places and this doesn't have that feeling. If/when I come back to town, this is my first call. They had just expanded in August and the open spots reflected some movement of campers I seen then.

Little Lucy RV Resort is conveniently located about 4 miles north of Lampasas on US Highway 281.

As you pull in you are greeted by the main office with friendly, eager to please staff.

For your security, the resort is only accessible by a passcode.

Most RV slots are pull through, with easy backing for the few that aren’t.

Some spaces are in the open with plentiful sunshine, while others are nestled underneath majestic oaks.

There are on-site laundry facilities including a shower.

A restaurant is in the works.

For nature lovers, there are walking trails and a stream in the resort.

Your 15 minute walk may turn into an hour due to talking to all the friendly folks.

Whether you’re stopping overnight or staying for months, you’ll always feel at home at Little Lucy RV Resort.

We sold our home and lived in our RV at Little Lucy for 11 months. We had absolutely ZERO issues to report in that 11 month span. The neighbors are friendly, children play together outside, and the ownership/management is top notch. If we had a question or request for the ownership, we would get an answer normally within minutes. A very clean, well manicured, and lovely place to stay if you're in your RV.
