Perfect location. Peaceful. Less than 2 miles from Mackinaw City and lots of great restaurants. Only 16 miles from Cheboygan. Nice size campsites. A firepit on each site. A short walk to a beautiful view of the Bridge and access to Lake Huron.

This is a great place to stay and it's right on the water! Very reasonable pricing and there's a couple things for the kids to play on by the water. Very close by to everything in downtown Mackinaw City. Our site was #67 and is right next to the bathrooms. Our site had no shade. I wish we were put at a site with shade as it would have been more comfortable when it was hot out. Also being directly next to the bathroom, we heard the screen door creak and slam all night long. Other than that, our site served its purpose. They probably should be more consistent with their store hours and update their Google listing. We went up to the store 3 different times and each time, it was closed when Google said it would be open. All in all, it was a good trip for us. I would like to stay here again and have a site next to the water. There are fireworks on Friday and Sunday nights and everyone sits on the beach to watch them.

The sites are well maintained. The bathrooms adequate but not terrific. It has an awesome lake access and beautiful views. And on Friday nights across the water they apparently do fireworks. It was quite the show. They have a free shuttle to mackinak Island but we opted to ride our bikes. It was only 5 minutes.

Beautiful view when you get a site close to the water. The water felt amazing and very peaceful. Had nice bathrooms and decent store on site including ferry tickets. Very clean campsites

We stayed here the night before we took the ferry to Mackinac island.. the tent sites are awesome,, very close to the water. Awesome views of the sunrise n sunset and the twinkling Mackinac Bridge. πŸŒ…πŸŒ‰

The sites are stacked in pretty closely, so that is a downside, but we were here in slow season,(fall) so it wasn’t filled. And the view made up for it!!

We would stay here again.
