Our favorite part of this campground is that it is very limited with people and maximize space!!! We played music, let our dogs run and play fetch, and loved that no one was in our business. Camping FREE!! FREEDOM ELITE, BABY!! All DAY!! This campground is two miles off the hwy in the woods (yet parallel to the hwy so it is noisy and you can see the passing cars.....🤷🏽♀️Super cute playground! Two slides, swings(including a baby swing), basketball and hoop, tetherball, lots of seating for chillin moms and dads like us, and a little cabin play house. Super adorns!! Izzy played restaurant with a drive through. We had a blast! I climbed the tall steps and went down the fast slide. haha The mattress at the end is super odd 🤷🏽♀️ someone's awesome idea face! hahahaa. The pool is a bit questionable as it could defiantly use some updates but it is closed for the season so we didn't dive in anyways. In the campers lounge area there is a pool table(Izzy got to play), a tv with dvds, a cool juke box, a computer for guests to. use, and a cozy looking couch. Someone is being super cute decorating for Christmas with a pretty tree(which Izzy loved) and a formal dining table(makes me wonder what we will do for Thanksgiving-Follow us across the USA-NoMads with Mama Bear on Facebook). Our site had a 30 amp electric (50 was also available, water, and sewer(defiantly needs updating). No picnic table(we could have brought one from another site but like our camping chairs better so we didn't). No fire ring. We asked the office for one and they said we could go find one ourselves somewhere in the park. We didn't have much luck as most of the rings were taken or damaged 🤷🏽♀️ we searched high and low but only found 4 in the park. One was so old and rusty it wasn’t worth picking up. (No ER visits on this trip, pls) The other fire rings were either on permanent sites with lots of debris in them already, so we didn’t bother with a ring. The showers and bathrooms seem clean and cozy. We seen a few random cats strolling around.
The staff seemed kind and easy going This campground also doubles as a storage unit center. It does seem a bit cluttered. The back of this campground is a trailer park. Several campers were older with pretty severe delopitated appearences. The full timers we met were all very kind and keep it pushing. This campground-(and other business idea faces) seems nice but we are a bit outside our comfort zone. . Overall we would stay a night here again but not long term. We are Love aLive YO!
This place is a dump. Dirt sites dirt road. The grass has not been mowed in over a month. Site are unlevel. $57.42 So much for a good same discount. Don't stay there it's a rip off.
Do not under any circumstances tent at this place unless you enjoy the sound of semi's driving by throughout the night. The tent spots are 100yds from I-10!!We got lucky because we got hit with a thunderstorm which partially drowned out the noise of the traffic.
A pretty little campground tucked in close to the interstate but not so close that road noise is an issue. Friendly helpful staff. Clean laundry room with plenty of washers and dryers. Only $1.50 to wash and $1.00 to dry.
Lots of shade trees and fairly level sites.
Pretty little campground right off the Interstate. Monthly rates are available, and they have a section for the longer term campers that's quiet and tucked away. There is a beautiful community center with a lounge, a full sized pool table, a laundry facility, a little store, and a shower facility. Walking trails, a little pond to fish at, a lovely playground, dumpster on site, and a pool are all complementary. Many spots have full hookups and the lot is easy to navigate; roads and parking spots are dirt, not paved. Their team members are very friendly and helpful.
