From jct I-10 (exit 199) & US 27: Go 2-1/2 mi N on US 27.
A little noisy from 27, but the park is quiet and very well kept. Bathroom/shower was nice and clean too. The staff, Janet and Britney, were both great! Can't wait to stay here again!
We had a 3 night stay at Big Oak. We were in town for FSU parent weekend. The park is beautiful and well maintained. It was very quiet and it was a beautiful setting. Set up was easy. They had an issue with the 30 amp circuit breaker but we switched to the 50 amp and it was fine. We reported the issue. Richard who lives and works at the park was awesome and very helpful! The park depending on traffic can be 15 minutes minimum to FSU. Traffic is awful so it usually takes longer.
Great location. Sites are tight for our 30 foot trailer. Previous occupants pranked us by installing the sewer cap upside down and pretty tight. ☹️ Lots of barking dogs.
It was great staying here. Me and my friend were trying to find a place to stay for just a night the recording on the phone said that they close at 7 and we got there before 7 but they were closed. But a staff member was still near and went to talk to the one who runs it and we were able to do the one night stay. This is definitely a place me and her want to come back to to stay for a bit longer. I have been to many rv and camp sites with the grandpa but non that I remember are this good. The facility were so clean and spaces and the staff we meet were so sweet. It's a must come back to when we travel.
We rarely stay in private parks as spaces are usually so tight and there is no privacy, but we loved this park. The big oak tree was truly spectacular and it was super quiet. Nice professional manager with easy check in. Highly recommend!
