We enjoyed it so much. Lots of work involved!! I was so glad to see the LORD'S Manage scene!!!! Beautiful life size people, Camel, donkey, ox,...etc.
Loved the different scenes especially the GOD BLESS AMERICA!! Make sure you bring cash to give to Wounded Warriors!!! Would have given more if we had known!!!
At the gathering, marshmallows to buy with sticks to cook your own at the fire pit!!!! Funnel cakes, wooden crafts and other booths.
The puppeteers!!! was so cool and the guy on the keyboard did a wonderful job singing and talking. I loved his puppets!!!

Me and a few of my buddies went for the weekend to celebrate a birthday. This was my first time there, so I was in for a couple of surprises, not in a good way. Our priority was to play disc golf, but after trying to negotiate our way around the overgrown, and flooded course, we had to quit after just a few holes. Another surprise is, they don't have cabins at all, as they are old trailers. Luckily my friends had a newer, full size trailer, but I chose one on the back row thinking it was more private. It couldn't have been more wrong. The small trailers in the back have to be 50+ years old, and so was the a/c and the mattress. It was the weekend and everyone was showing up. Turns out, I was in a very popular place for teens to stay. The 2 bedroom dump of a trailer next to me, had 6 teens staying in it, and everyone seemed to want to play their music louder than their neighbors. On top of this, the park just seem to serve as a place where everyone brings a golf cart, and driving around all night seemed to be the thing to do. With the air conditioner not able to actually produce any cool air, and after laying down for 30 minutes on the old lumpy bed, I made the choice to leave. I left, with a jacked up back, the first evening. I just dropped my keys in the drop box and made the long drive home. Never again.
We love camping here! You can rent a golf cart to explore this amazing property! There are fun places to swim, lots of nature and tons of trails! Be sure to catch the bat emergence each night at dusk at the bat house!
Suwanee is a very special place. The park, one may be as primitive as you like or as Glamp as you wish. It is both ,great for enjoying music festivals or if you prefer more peace and quiet? The off season and weekends are a wonderful get a way.
This was our first time at the kids music fest and it was AMAZING! Our kiddo signed up for ukelele and fell in love. It was a pretty cold weekend and we needed to change from tent to a cabin and had booked a two bedroom with pull out. We ended up with a two bedroom with no pullout but luckily the other kiddo we were bringing was unable to come so it all worked out. The music fest staff and instructors were fabulous. The only downside we experienced was that a few of the phone staff we talked to and worked with weren’t the kindest but the other staff more than made up for it.
All in all fabulous weekend celebrating music with family and friends and spreading the joy of music.
