The property is on the Witchlachocie river ,its a double lot with electric an well water ,you can camp in many spots there ,or bring your camper van ,the dock is not finished so please use the nearby boat ramp to go boating,theres two large porches to relax on ,set up a camp fire .the nearby Madason blue springs park, has a great swimming hole,enjoy.Town of Madason is about 6 miles away .Exact address is 1779 River Park rd, Lee,Florida 32059
From Madason take 90 east to 6 east ,take right at ivy rd ,pass bottling factory, take first left ,keep left drive to river pass boat ramp ,take right,pass a gate that says Big guns,property is on left ,theres a blue motor fan ,marking entrance .
The water was a bit chilly but refreshing, and there was a current from the center so I had to keep an eye out. But there were no alligator warning signs, so I figured I was in the clear. I stayed for three hours, and my skin felt silky smooth afterwards. This place is the bee's knees!
This summer sun can be brutal, as my fellow Floridians know, and finding new ways to beat the heat is always fun. On a whim, my mom and I decided to check it out and I am SO so so glad we did. The water is a crisp 68⁰F but absolutely worth dipping into. I can't remember the last time I felt that refreshed! I cannot wait to come back again and again, I'm even more excited to share this special space with my friends and family.
By the way, there is a $5 entry fee for vehicles with more than 2 people.
Maybe one day I'll be able to suit up with the divers and check out the underwater caves! Hope you check it out for yourself. 💖
Madison Blue Park is definitely worth the visit. Beautiful clear spring water that we were told stays 72 degrees year round. Nice trails to hike and dog friendly
