From jct Hwy 361 & Ave G: Go 2 blocks E on Ave G, then 3/4 mi S (R) on 11th St.
This is a very nice and clean rv park. The spaces are close and no shade trees, but nice and well maintaied. They are concrete spots with a small strip of grass for a "yard". The pool, bathrooms and laundry were all nice and clean. We will definitely stay here again if we come back to Port A!!
Checking in was an easy process. Yes, a video was provided to enter the “pull-through” site, but having to go over a curb was not ideal. We have stayed at other RV parks in PA, and all have been easy pull through & plenty of room to get out of the site. Trying to drive through to get out was near impossible as all vehicles were parked in front of their RV, hence making little to no room to drive through in this “pull-through.”
Getting in and out of the spot we were assigned to was very difficult. Very little space in between each row.
We have stayed at other PA sites and never had an issue with internet, especially being on the island. Internet was very weak and not available at times, as we were notified AFTER it was not working. Water was unavailable due to main leak, and no backup, who g we understand out of slowness control. . Restrooms & laundry room decent. One machine did not work, and those in there said it would eat your money and not work.
Very strict on parking, visitors, and pool area. Even for a guest stopping by for 15-29min on his way to another job. Parking on grass was not allowed and really not enough space for all sites to have extra parking. Painting pool during day was inconvenient especially with kids.
Unfortunately will not be booking this RV Park again.glad to hear you will not be expecting us to return.
Surfside Rv & Resort is the best RV Park in Port Aransas. With it's manicured landscaping, clean and spacious bath house, large rec hall, and beautiful pool/hot tub area, it's the perfect in-town location for RVers. The park is within walking distance to the beach (5 min) shopping, fast food, liquor stores, dining and more!
We have been coming to Surfside R.V. & Resort for years. Our favorite place to stay in Port A. Very clean, well manicured sites, privately owned, great staff. We love it here. Very reasonably priced.
We stayed for 5 nights, in our camper. We were so happy that the bathrooms next to the pool were nice and clean, as well as washer/dryer to keep up with our towels. The pool was warm, but it was still nice when you want a break from the saltwater! The area was well kept and maintained. The location is great as well, very close to restaurants, shops, and the beach! We will definitely be going back!
