Cabins: For the person who loves the outdoors but still likes some of the comforts of home, Sulphur Springs Camp, Inc. is the place to be. Our modern lodges are completely furnished. All lodges are air conditioned with full kitchens, restrooms, cooking utensils and linens. Reservations for these lodges are strongly recommended. Cabins range from two bed lodges which can accomodate up to six people, to five bed lodges which can accomodate up to fifteen people. Picnic tables and barbeque grills enhance your camping experience. Tents are not allowed at the cabins. Check in time for cabins is 3:00 PM, and check out time is 11:00 AM.

RV Hookups: Many people today are R.V. enthusiasts. The camp has plenty of hookups located at the river's edge. These feature water and electricity with dump station, and may be rented on a daily, monthly, or yearly basis. Restrooms and public showers with hot and cold water are also located in the park area. Reservations are not required for an R.V. space, however, we will have plenty of room for you! Tents are not allowed in the R.V. area.

Tent Camping: For the outdoorsmen who prefer to tent camp or to "rough it", this is the place! There are approximately three miles of river front that is accessible by a gravel road. Campsites are shaded by large native trees and high rock cliffs. This beautiful setting is what people are talking about when they talk about the "Great Outdoors". For the nature loving outdoorsmen, this is a bit of paradise on earth. Check out time for camping is 9:00 AM. Reservations are not required for campsites. Come early and pick your favorite spot.

This is the penultimate camping spot but be sure you either bring a truck or go very slow and not too far back in the camping area my poor focus was too low to the ground to get very far back into the camping area but the scenery and remoteness of the camping area really gives you the feeling you're out in the wild we got there at night after the place was closed we put a 50 in their envelope and put it in the box stayed one night I got 6 bucks back in the morning I didn't realize how expensive it would be the sign said 12 dollars to camp but thats per person plus some other fee and I miscalculated I thought I would have enough for two nights but all in all it was a very cool experience and kind of creepy and spooky and alot of fun loved it!!!!

No motorcycles. What is this, Easy Rider? Why would you exclude motorcycles? What kind of discrimination is this. I understand not allowing people to ride around the campground, etc. But a blanket ban on motorcycles seems unAmerican.

Great camping place in the Texas Hill

Country. You have options to RV camp, or rent a cabin or disperse camp. I went camping a with some friends and dispersed camp. It’s the cheapest, but you have to pack in and pack out. The area is well maintained and clean. The deeper you go into the property, the more remote it is. We didn’t have reception. Just a great place to disconnect and hang with friends. They are closed Oct till Jan for hunting season.

Having to do a review again because it was flagged the first time when I told the truth about the reservation clerk overcharging us and her having done this to multiple friend groups as well. I really do like the website which brought us here but when we got here it was really not well kept up. The only thing good was primitive camping and the fishing was peaceful, but it really depends on the season. The state park is down the road which is more well kept has more scenery, but this camp site has so much potential. Too many outdated facilities and RVs. The restrooms were terrible.

I do want to make note that the ONLY BAD EXPERIENCE is dealing with the lady/clerk that handles the reservations and charges, everything else was peaceful and I actually enjoyed having no cell phone service out there - but unfortunately the company needs some upgrading.

Amazing place to visit or picnic. The road is off-road, not too difficult, but has some trails. Bunch of places/spots to camp. They also have RV camping and trailers to stay in as well. Great place to spend night
