A great place to swim when it hot outside but right now it needs the rain to bring the water back to this park

Nice quiet place for tent camping and day visit. Sadly the water is very low and you have to walk around the bend. It's just a mud pit right now

The homeless have absolutely taken over at owl Creek. If you come there for the afternoon with your family they will treat you as if you are an interloper. And I went there over memorial weekend and they hadn't even bothered to mow for a holiday weekend at the park. Owl Creek has been going downhill for years but now it's just down right awful. Used to go out there every couple of weeks on the weekend, probably won't ever go back now.

Closed. Walked in a bit & found trash everywhere...probably why it is closed...so sad! People pick up after yourself!

I stopped here for a few days, spur of the moment. Was not prepared for no water or electricty. A few other nomads like myself here that are friendly. A lot of traffic to the boat ramp without boats. I'm keeping away from there. Pretty, but the bathroom has no doors, and you have to crawl over a pipe fence to get to your site unless to want to go through the only gateway about 50 feet to the center of that parking spots. I would not stay if it weren't for the other campers near by.
