We stayed here in our SuperC MH with an enclosed trailer at the campground fur 6 days. We absolutely loved it there. The prop.e working there are super attentive, helpful and friendly. They helped us in getting a nice space that fit 65’ feet and the food in the restaurant was very good. I had my first Lobster Roll with melted butter and it was delicious.

I hiked extensively in Grafton Notch State Park which is stunning. We were able to run errands and explore Bethel and Rumford.

We chose here because of how close it was to the event we were attending. Everyone was great there that we had interactions with. Our site was beautiful & love how relaxing it felt. Bathrooms were clean & the HOT showers were just what we needed! Mini golf & shuffleboard were a hit for us! Definitely worth going back!

When we called to make our reservation for a tent site, we were recommended to try the lean to’s. So glad they did! We loved the experience!

While we didn’t use any of the amenities such as putt putt, shuffleboard, horseshoes, etc, they had all the necessary equipment for them available and easily accessible.

The weather wasn’t the best when we stayed so we didn’t venture to the pool so I can’t comment on that.

Overall, a great time. We plan on returning and using a lean to again!

I loved Stony brook campground. Ms Jane in the office is amazing. Never had a issue with any of the staff actually, they were all good. We stayed in site 53 for 2 months and it was plenty big enough for our truck, 40ft 5th wheel, Jeep, 10ft utility trailer and golf cart, the only problem I seen or had with our site is it is not level. We had to fight getting it leveled, other sites in the main upper area for campers all look somewhat unlevel tho. The pool is huge 20x40 and always clear and clean, the pool man does a great job. The new owner Mike was always working his butt off getting the best the way he wants. The roads do wash out with lots of heavy rain, which we did get rain over half the 2 months we were there, but still drivable. We had a blast riding our golf cart around the campground and the road around it. The laundry room is dark, they definitely need to fix the lights in there, other than that it was great. Washers and dryers both worked great the whole time we were there. They are 2.25$ a load for each. We didn’t eat at the restaurant but once so I can’t say how it really is, other than it was ok. I will also say that out of all the campgrounds I have traveled to in the pass 3 years, this is by far the only place I’ve seen where everyone(almost everyone) picks up their dog poop, I didn’t see but a few times in the back area where the tents are. If we ever have to come back to this area for another shutdown we will definitely stay here again.

Original site provided was less than ideal for motorcyclists however we were given an upgraded site at no extra cost when they remembered we were on bikes. Camp store and amenities were excellent and wifi covered much of the grounds. The Pool was a great way to end a long day ride. Breakfast the next morning ht the spot.
