About Campground

Family owned and operated campground since 1923. Our campground is located on the southern end of Long Sands Beach in York, Maine. We have 45 oceanfront sites that run along our rocky seawall. There is no direct access to the water from the campsites, but easy access at the north and south end of our property. Online reservations start April 1st, every year, and most sites sell out quickly.

Really nice owners/employees ! They do such a wonderful job at keeping the bathrooms pristine clean! Amazing ocean views right from your campsite, you are also right by one of the most beautiful beaches in Maine & are in prime location

Awesome place, 30 and 50amp hook ups, blackwater and fresh water hookups. Just beware of the guy in the DutchStar RV parked near the entrance. He stares at little girls and yells profanity at random people. Why Libbys hasn't kicked him out after all these years is beyond me.

This is really nice campground. Pricey, but then you're right on the ocean.

The oceanfront campsites are understandably extremely close together. And each has its own fire pit. And the wind invariably comes off of the ocean. Which means that when your neighbors build a fire (and they don't know how to build a fire), the smoke will invariably engulf your campsite, forcing you to go inside.

Simple fix - Given the proximity of the ocean sites, eliminate the fire pits.

Libby's Oceanside Campground is a "Beautiful" and relaxing campground Staffed by a family with equal measure. They care for there property and for there campers and provide a relaxing

and peaceful place for everyone to enjoy. Truly a Boutique Gem. We travelled all the way from Albany, NY, over the Labor Day Weekend and experienced a little mechanical issue with our car and the staff at Libby's offered informative solutions that ultimately helped us. Awesome Staff and Campground.
