I almost don't want to leave a 5-Star review because I don't want to share my little secret getaway. The campground is beautiful. The owners are amazing. Even when we don't camp, we come here to make day trips down the Saco. As soon as we leave we start to make plans to return! đź’ś
I cannot say enough great things about this campground. Our initial experience was 3 years ago when we were looking for a campground on the Saco River that could accommodate a large group. We’ve been been coming back ever since. Tori and Jason are extremely welcoming, helpful and accommodating. We are full time RVers in the summer, on more than one occasion, due to poor planning on our part, they have found space for us.
The property is well kept. Kid friendly and pet friendly. To us, On the Saco Family Campground feels like “home port” and we always look forward to each and every trip.
This campground was a great place to end our trip to the USA. The owners are amazing and really made us feel at home. They take pride in their campground , keeping it clean and very well kept. We wish we could have spent more time here, when we get back in the area we will definitely stay here again.
We didn’t want to come home! We took our 11, 9, and 7 year olds camping for the first time in Maine. The campground, owners, and employees were all amazing. So much for kids to do, new friends to make, and memories to be made. It’s so welcoming and safe. And even if the Saco was high we made some awesome day trips to nearby lakes, rivers, and towns. Highly recommend!
Wow wow wow! The best campground. We were in the River Front group site for 4 days, which was huge, clean, and private. The river is gorgeous and such a nice backdrop, even if you don’t swim. This site has a great fishing spot and a porta-potty on it, too. The owners Jason and Tori are so fantastic and accommodating and their friendly and inviting demeanor really makes this camp feel like a second home. After a downpour with crazy hail while we were setting up, Jason came by on his golf cart to make sure we were all set. We will be back as many years as possible!
