Thanks Glenrock, WY, what a lovely stay!
We recently stayed at the Glenrock South Recreation Complex. It's 5 minutes from Glenrock and 30 minutes from downtown Casper (super cute BTW).
The park was clean, quiet (minus noise from the freeway - NBD for us), had great amenities (great cell service, BBQ, water, trash, and vault toilets), and hardly anyone was there except for a few big rigs. There's a small playground, little league fields, and a rodeo. Best of all, it's FREE. Our stay was so peaceful. I highly recommend!

Very nice place to be . Camping is free long as you don't be wild and crazy . Cops patrol the area and they have cameras around the area . No electric but they have BBQ pits and a water spout and trashcan.
Nice place for a night or 2. Like previous posts say the mosquitoes own the place.
This land was donated for the area to use for activities and free camping, but just because it's free, doesn't mean it's not well maintained, there's an officer that makes his rounds to make sure no funny business is going on, which is reassuring, he's a nice man, there's a rodeo arena and a baseball field, and nice shady spots to park under or set up tents. I would come back to this place time and time again, please leave the place better than you found it so that the next people and return visitors can continue to enjoy this place for years to come...
Thank you Glenrock! Beautiful, quiet shady park on the river with picnic area, restrooms, water and trash. Camping allowed for up to 5 days free. It's very clean so please everyone, show your appreciation and keep it that way. Only staying one night in my RV but
I'll stop in town tomorrow and have breakfast.
