What an amazing monument…. We have been there 4 times now , still impressive every time. Walked the trail around the base with our young grandkids, very easy to walk. Views are amazing. Our campground was at the base of the monument and had very clean bathrooms. A must see…
It is a Great camping, at national parks style. No electricity.
The water is very clean and daily tested.
And, all spots have a good view of the Devil's Tower mountain, some ones are gordious.
Campsites were much larger (and quieter overall) than many of the other campsites my husband and I experienced throughout our recent National Park journey out west. Grass was soft, flat, with minimal ground obstructions, so our night was very comfortable. Nearby bathrooms were clean and stocked. Although the FCFS structure was a little nerve wracking during peak summer travel season, we made it to the campground around 4p BEFORE doing any hikes or activities and there were still plenty of spaces. They filled up fast after we set up, but I imagine if you make it to the campground by 5p-6p you'd be good. BONUS - the Bat Festival was happening the same day we arrived! I love bats!!!
This is a first come first service campground. Excellent view of the tower. Campground is very clean and free of trash. Bathrooms were clean and had plenty of toilet paper. Campground host was over the top amazing. I would stay here again.
Gorgeous gorgeous site! We stayed here on Fourth of July and it was perfect. I think the spots are spaced out nicely. We had a view right in front of devils tower and it was so cool. Each campsite has a picnic table and fire pit. They also have water spouts for clean water that’s drinkable! The bathrooms were clean and heated! They also have outlets in there if you need to plug something in. Highly recommend! Didn’t have much bugs either.
