From US 395 (between MP 198 & 199): Go 2-8/10 mi N to Hwy 231, then 3-1/2 mi W on Hwy 231, then 3-1/2 mi N on Waitts Lake S Rd.
Family and I stayed this past weekend and enjoyed our stay. The location, cleanliness, service and activities made for a great weekend away.
We stayed in Tiny Home #1 and were pleasantly surprised by how updated everything was from the appliances, beds and lots of space, the lakeview made for a big bonus.
Our 2 year old could not get enough of the swings and slide in the kid area. We had dinner from the restaurant which was very good and large portions. We didn't forget the ice cream! Some of the biggest scoops I have ever had at a good price.
Will recommend to family and friends looking for a great place to relax.
My wife and I driven by this place dozens of times over the past 30 years and have always said we should stay there. We finally did it this week. The campground is in a very good location right on the lake and had beach access to enjoy the water. The staff there were great as well. They may have been the best part of our visit. Thanks for your hospitality, we'll see you next summer.
After driving over 300 miles to offer our professional service, experience and education to the management of Silver Beach Resort we were GHOSTED!! How unprofessional. How rude. What a terrible loss. We had so much to offer! Instead, the owner hired someone with limited experience and limited abilities. Management has not improved at this resort!! Immediate status, no changes. I wouldn't stay at this resort for free!!

My husband and I got a cabin for the weekend and that day got so cold that there was no water in the cabin. The water pipes got frozen but Stephie & Cesar went out of their way to make sure that we got another place to stay and they were very polite. They made sure we were comfortable during our time there. We are looking forward to staying there again, the cabins are very clean and the grounds are beautiful with an amazing view of the lake in all its Wintry glory..looks like a dreamy Christmas postcard. See you soon..!!
