This park is geared to serving RVers. It has two lawns where campers can set up tents. There are no specific tent sites and the two tables are to be shared. There are no water faucets in the camp area nor specific places to cook. Parking is a short walk from the camping area. The park has 40 spaces dedicated to RV use each having full hook-ups - water, electric, and sewage. Pricing is variable. There is one dumpster for garbage disposal.
I can not say enough about the accommodating nature of the owner/managers of this park. I made the reservations months in advance knowing how busy Weaverville is over the July 4th weekend. All phone calls were handled with clear, friendly communication. Upon our arrival I discovered I was missing a piece of equipment to unhitch. Jim (who is an expert at backing and helped immensely) offered to run to the hardware store for me and solved my problem quickly. Impressive!
The bathroom and showers are very clean and accessible.
This is a clean, safe, well-run, friendly rv park. Dana, owner, was extremely helpful as we broke down in Weaverville. We were so happy to get a space with grass for our pups. Stayed 2 nights.
Cute little rv park. However managers are very unfriendly. I have been here a total of 3 times in 3 years and this is the last time. Men were taking showers in women's bathroom. Codes to bathroom are written above door for all to see
A very pleasant place to stay. Clean. Laundry facilities. Helpful and friendly staff. Economical. Full hookups. No wild parties here! The old town is quaint with restaurants, museum, health foods, crafts and more. Nestled in nature. Close to Hwy 299.
RV sites are not very level. Had a heck of a time trying to level the RV without the tires lifting off the ground. Bathrooms are locked down from 8pm to 6am. Went to use around 6:30am and they were still locked. Sites are tight.
