Really high up, far from water.
This site was a bit confusing. We pulled in but the signs on the road said closed for the season. On a Friday at 4pm in the summer there was nobody there. Felt a little off. Plus, you're easily a couple hundred feet (reallllly far) from the water, that we couldn't even see it from the site. Ended up not staying, found dispersed camping down and off the main road finally.
Great campground right off the highway. Road sounds are the only reason not 5/5. Nice, newer fire pits with integrated grills at each site, and almost half the sites have bear boxes installed for food storage.
Unmarked trails behind the camp lead to what sounds like the river. I unfortunately couldn't fully explore since I had my dog and the trail was kinda steep. Sites are somewhat private, but the campground is stepped and those in some sites above you can see down into your site. Each site has a concrete table and there are a couple drop toilets on site that are moderately clean.
For $6/night, $3 with a pass, not a bad night's sleep.
