We loved the sound of the woods @ night! Absolutely peaceful! Bathrooms clean, pool nice & clean. Our RV site was nice & big plus my husband backed in & was level from side to side (I told him that will never happen again). Owners & other campers were quite friendly. We will refer this place to others.
Lots of upgrades being done including a new basketball court, new concrete around the pool, new sidewalks and decking at the campground store. Beautiful enhancements! My wife and I are seasonal campers and love Shady Oaks Family Campground!
My wife and I have been camping here for a number of years now. We have 4 fur kids and we were welcomed as if we were family, The owners are the sweetest 💗. Everytime we camp we know that once we are settled, the Mrs. comes by to say hello and see the fur kids. The campground is very clean and well maintained too. The bath houses are also very clean. We feel safe and relaxed here. The prices are very reasonable and the sites are great. We always get just water and electric hook up because we like being in the woods. They do have a dump station so we do that before leaving. We recommend this place to all glampers and campers.
Very friendly and accommodating staff. We stayed for a few weeks over the winter holidays, so not very busy but the facilities were good and the staff (and Dusty) are super friendly. We will stay again if we come back home for the holidays next year.
We are on a family trip from Maine to Tennessee and needed to find a safe place halfway through to stay for the night. We selected Shady Oaks based on proximity and their excellent reviews. And we were so happy we did! We were welcomed with open arms. Very clean and you can tell the owners were taking efforts to continually maintain the campground. Hopefully our return route brings us back this way as we will definitely stay here again!
