Been coming here every summer since 2015/2016? Decided to come again this year against several other enticing options and was left speechless that when I arrived at 2:46 on a Tuesday I was not allowed to check in because it wasn't 3 yet. Seriously... 14 min early? And the far from busy cashiers didn't even bat an eye when they reiterated that it wasn't 3pm yet. Horrible service, has gone way downhill over the years Cabin had leftover trash from previous occupant and covered in dirt, falling apart structure and spiderwebs. Will not be returning. Avid camper/glamper, can recommend 5 other campgrounds besides this one. Save your money. Do not visit.
They advertise it as having a water park, it's just a slide. The pool was not what they said it was they were rude. You can't check in 1 second before 3 o'clock. The events and activities that they said they have they don't I wanted to try and get my money back day. One but I drove 200 miles.
I was really nervous for this trip - having not been here before and reading some negative reviews. However I was pleasantly surprised. I found all of the staff members to be pleasant and welcoming. The site we were in was very nice and roomy. I do agree that the bathrooms could use some work. The pools and slides were fun and for as many people as were there - they had plenty of chairs and space for everyone. We had a great visit.
My wife and I visited once for a long weekend but we won't be going back. The pools were jam packed to the point that you could only stand. We rented a golf cart which was fun but trust me, they are very noisy. We are usually the "rowdy" campers so we don't mind party people, but this place was loud all day and night. Having said all that... the staff was friendly and bathrooms were clean. We might be getting old. Lol.
We are switching where we park our camper on a seasonal site. This place is a little more expensive for the site, but we now have free cable, wifi and we don't have to pay for our friends and family to come see us. The waterpark for the kids is amazing. There is an adult only pool along with many more activities. This place is awesome.
