The best place for dry camping! Our families got to kayak, fish, and hike right along the river. We had the whole place to ourselves and had an amazing time. We plan to go back again this season.
Great location and layout for dry camping for individuals and groups. it was nice to be have the whole campsite and being so close to the water and the northwest Lancaster trail network were all positives. Next time we come back we will bring bicycles to ride the trail. The campsite it kept clean and well taken care of.
River Rock is a gem of a spot! The way the breeze comes off the water at night is... everything. My morning meditations were so peaceful in their secluded site. Our daughter asked if we can come back soon. That was her first time camping and she had such a great time. It was really nice that she could just run around the site & explore without concern of other people. We're looking at your fall dates, can't wait to come back!
