At Blueway RV Village the park amenities have been transformed! The “new” Blueway has been upgraded with 103 improved RV sites featuring pavers, crushed shell and landscaping packages, a fully landscaped recreational area with pickleball courts, shuffleboard courts, putt-putt golf, cornhole, tikihuts and benches, a new dog park with an obstacles course, pet cleaning station and an upgraded poolside amenity package. Bring your home on wheels and once you're here, you won't want to leave!
From jct Hwy 82 & I-75: Go 10 mi S on I-75 (exit 128), then 1 mi W on Alico Rd, then 2-1/4 mi S on US 41 (Tamiami Trail), then 1/2 mi W on Santa Maria Dr.
This is our 5th winter here at Blueway. I have to tell you that right after the hurricane we were wondering where we were going to stay this winter. Well let me say the transformation is unbelievable! All of the sites in the meadows were elevated, paver patios put in and incredible landscaping. The expanded pool area is amazing! The staff and the contractors have done an amazing job cleaning up, and improving the park after the devastation done by Ian.
POST HURRICANE REVIEW:
Accepts children: Florida travel tip. Really hard to find an open RV campground that isn't 55+ . This was one of the rare ones that does so I was thankful for that! HOWEVER
When booking, make sure they are giving you a spot that hasn't been destroyed! We booked over the phone and I informed that we would be arriving after office hours. They set up to pickup our site assignment at the bar-which they did. HOWEVER, they assigned us to a site which was still being renovated and was completely inaccessible due to construction equipment parked in the way. We called after hours number and left two messages and were not helped until morning. Luckily, they have overnight hook ups available should this happen to you. We were not given a refund from this mistake.
However, once we were all settled in, we enjoyed the one pool which has been renovated and crews are working hard to repair damaged structures. Currently canteen and currently club house was not open but being renovated.
Thank you all for a wonderful relaxing weekend! We had fun at your Father's day activities. All your hard work after Hurricane Ian is appreciated, the place looks great!

This is our 1st time here & we will most definitely be back! Everyone has welcomed us from day 1! Everyone is so nice & helpful. We immediately made lifetime friends! There are so many fun activities to be a part of or you don’t have to, no pressure! Great, awesome people here & all the staff is amazing! I’m sad we have to go back home end of February but we’ll be counting the days to be back next winter! Also, We have a puppy so the very nice dog park was our friend!
They are in the midst of construction and it’s horrible. I have the worst site on the lot. A corner a lot and zero privacy. The back of my trailer is at the laundry trailers. The laundry too. They’ve taped over the controls so you can’t pick your cycle or wash temp. But you still pay full price. My sewage line is 2 inches from my tank drain. The least they should have done in the midst of construction and sites being so bad is give a discount knowing what people are getting.
