What an absolute dump, you’re crammed in next to everyone else, it’s basically a muddy field, there is no Wi-Fi, the store is empty. The air conditioner in the office is full of mold, the water hookup to your camper is basically sludge, it clogged my water system. Avoid this “ trailer park “ at all cost. We will never stay here again!!!!!!
People are friendly. Clean, safe. Good stop for a week or two. Lots of camp activities. During winter season sites are tight. Nearest town is about 13 miles away for groceries, gas fill ups.
Did have a problem with the final bill upon leaving. The office was told before we checked in and during our stay the date change when we were checking out, the computer account was not updated to show us leaving 1 month earlier. We were charged an extra $150 to settle our final bill. Our electric ran about $65 a month on top of the monthly rate, but our permanent resident neighbor was charged around $45.
3/23 Meadowlark Shores RV Park is a good rv park, remotely located between LaBelle and Moore Haven. Priced about midway in the Florida spectrum, communication with the reservation and front office at check in was a breeze. The whole staff seem caring and respectful. Plenty of stuff going on all winter as the photos show. This is a monthly stay for us and we did 2 months last year. The people at this park make it welcoming and inclusive. We are on a single site, FH, extremely pleased with our location. Fishing is good here and Ortona Locks is a couple miles up the road, also good fishing. We bring our own WiFi. Come check it out.
Water smells like sulfur, and the pressure is terrible. If you wash your clothes in the laundry room, they smell like sulfur. I have 2 different water filters going to my 5th wheel, and it still doesn't take the smell completely out.
