Campground is 6 miles from Punta Gorda, 7 miles from Port Charlotte and 25 miles from Fort Myers. Exit 164 I-75, follow RR 17 N toward Arcadia, pass Shell Station on left, Winn-Dixie on right. Will come to Circle K carry out on the left right beside; Circle K is Cleveland Ave. Turn left onto Cleveland Ave; it dead ends into Riverside Dr. Turn right and park will be seen on left. Turn left onto Griffith into park.
Older than most on the river took a beating last year’s storms but Florida strong rebuilding and updating.
It's a mobile home park. Looks like it was hit kind of hard by Hurricane Ian last September. But also they cleaned up and now have trailer from the state program they are putting people in.
No amenities left, went downhill after the hurricane and new owners, lot rent doubled, added charges for water and everything else, can't reach management with any issues, and with the Unite Florida Trailers came riffraff and troubled people. Really went downhill and that's sad because it was beautiful and the residents were amazing 😞😞😞😞😞
Under new management. Lot fees went up a lot. Strict rules now. One good thing is the fellow renters in the park seem pretty nice, although keep to themselves which is a good thing.
Nice place lots of fish around I was there with overall marine services fixing a Dock that needed some maintenance
