Moss Landing is in LaBelle,Florida. A quiet +55 community. Great residents. Large beautiful pool which over looks the Caloosahatchee River. Graceful large old oak trees adorn the park.
I have been here since October 2021. Today we will make Moss Landing our home. Our journey started with my partner's Mom moving from PA to a home in the park. The setting is simply charming, with beautiful trees, and Spanish moss adorning the old trees. There are many amenities available. People who live here are friendly and enjoying life. The staff here have been helpful and available to listen to concerns. This is a heavenly place to live out our retirement. It's a beautiful place that is now our home.😊
This is third winter staying in our RV here to escape the brutal cold up north. We appreciate the smaller town setting. The park enjoys beautiful views of the Caloosahatchee river even from the pool. Very friendly people staying there. Management is aggressively increasing seasonal rates, so we will see how this impacts the culture.
I was visiting Moss Landings community which is one of Treehouse Communities properties in LaBelle Fl. I was impressed with the charming setting until James the community manager showed up. I witnessed him verbally berate an older resident, I was shocked at what I was seeing. I went up to the older gentleman and asked if he was ok, It was obvious he was a bit shaken. He then told me that this was not the first time James attacked him, by this time other residents were gathering and I was told by several of them that if they complain about the treatment they receive by James that it only gets worse and they are then also threatened by eviction. My life's work is supporting our elderly , I am taking the abuse I witnessed and heard to higher levels, no one should have to live in fear!
We moved into Moss Landing (then known as Aqua Isles) in 2012. I loved the park. The people were great and over the next eight years they became family. I felt safe there. But I guess all good things must come to an end. The rent became too much for us to handle and we decided to move. I miss the park, the people and the good times.
